Good Morning, as most of you know, Andy is home from Burundi. When I opened this page today to blog, the Holy Spirit spoke to me one word: Fallout. Today I pray for the Spiritual Fallout to cover this nation, for a spiritual atomic Blast to break loose the strongholds and to bind and destroy the strong man. I continue to believe for the coming Storm to obliterate all of the 'junk' in the church, and to bring down false prophets and impostors, to burn away the dross with a Holy Fire and to bring the remnant forward, filling each person with the fullness of the Spirit. It's an Ananias-Sapphira season. He has made everything beautiful in its time, and it is Time for Burundi!

I declare that Burundi is: Burundi the Bountiful, Called-out Ones, not forgotten or forsaken. Raise this nation to the forefront of the spiritual revolution taking place on the continent of Africa, the Heart of the continent, extending the power of the Love of God to the four corners of the earth. You are the God of the unlikely and the God of the impossible, and all things Are Possible with You. Thank You, Lord, for the greening of this nation, for the 'fruitful vine trailing over the wall'. 'Feed ' the nations through the fruit of this nation, raise up a Joseph generation, a 'house of Joseph' in the land.

Hopefully Andy will blog some of this thoughts here, if not, I'll eventually post something on our website and Yahoo Flickr for pictures. Blessings, Amy

'Bountiful' is the word of the day! So I pray for 'Bounty for Burundi' and call it by name Burundi the Bountiful, God's name for the nation, not the world's. The harvest of all things will be bountiful, God's word is bountiful, we speak the Bounty of God into the nation! WhooHoo!

Chatted with Andy this morning, he's doing GREAT! and continuing to have divine appointments, really cool! I'll be back later with some scriptures...AmyPTL!!

Pentecost Revisited 4/30/08

Hello to All who read this blog:

my compter and connection are now working in such a way that i am able to post to the blog; so i thought i would send a short report about an awesome prayer meeting i attend on wed night 4/30. Below is my journal entry.

We went to the home of a man named Francois for an all night prayer meeting. They had a meal. Then some worship. Then Olivier asked me to share from God’s word. I had been meditating on what to share and had some verses that I thought were appropriate; a chosen generation, etc. But the spirit began to show me a vision before I spoke; during the time of worship.

It was of a piece of fruit; like a coconut but not exactly a coconut; it had a hard shell; and this piece of fruit was suspended in the air; and I heard the word "breaking"; and the hard shell of this fruit broke open; and faces began to appear; almost like photographs but not; iimages of faces that pealed out of this open fruit; as the faces appeared I did not know them; but then each face began to transform into faces of people that I seemed to know or my spirit knew them; they were not strangers to me. And I did not know what it meant. So when oli asked me to share; I took my bible and stood before this group and began to tell them what I saw and as I did the holy Spirit began to show me the meaning and I revealed it as I spoke.
The Lord was saying that he is going to bring a great breaking open among this people; that a hard shell had contained the fruit of their lives and God was going to break this hard shell and the fruit was going to be released upon the nation. That the unknown faces represented them; each one; as persons for whom they formerly were; before the breaking. But then God was going to reveal them for who he had truly made them and for the identity that He has ordained for them. The revelation of who they truly are in all their giftings and fruit. That he would use them and reveal them as open fruit. And that they were not to consider them selves as they have formerly known themselves; that God was going to reveal their true self(s).
I tell you the power of God began to settle down on this group; some of the men and women began to shake under the power.
Then the Holy spirit reminded me of the vision of the pregnant women with the big ears; and I shared this vision with them. I tell you the anointing was on me and the power of god was filling the room; it was like a Pentecost.
I told them that God was birthing something in their nation and that it was in the heart and soul of people like them; that God was showing thru the women in the vision that he knows their nation (nations being expressed in the feminine) and so in the vision of the women; and that the big ears represented that God was sending a word to them; and that they had a spirit to hear this word and that it was the word they had been looking for that would be the answer of their hearts cry as they cried out for their unborn child; their unborn divine purpose; and that God was giving them ears to hear of what He was about to do in their country and that a great birthing was about to begin; that these women were very pregnant and ready to give birth and that God was specifically giving birth to those in that meeting;
Wow!
The power of God hit the group; probably about 12-15 young women age 18-30 I would guess and about 10 men ages 20-40 but mostly 20-30. They began to fall down under the power of God. No one was touching them. The power of God just began to hit them and the just collapsed on the floor and shook under the power. It was so holy and glorious. It was beyond description. Not just what I saw but what I was sensinig in the spirit. This is a special group of young people and God is going to use them. One girl just hit the floor and began to shake under the power of God; it looked like deliverance and may have been some; but God was on her and I told them it was okay; we laid hands on her and she just shook so violently. Then the Lord led me to one of the men; a guy between 30-40. I touched him and the power of god went through him; he shook on his feet from head to foot and then began to ‘fight’ like a wild man. Again I sensed a holy fight and the spirit showed me that he was going to be a warrior against the purposes of the devil.
And then I was led to go around with oli and start praying for this group; and as I did heaven broke out on this group; they wept; they laughed; they fell down or collapsed or just shook under the power of God; The lord showed me so many things I do not know if I can remember them all; but the power of God was at work. Then about half way thru the group I reached out and touched Oli and began to pray for him. Oh the power of God hit him and he became like a bag of sand. He shook and fell down and lay on the floor for nearly an hour. Someone else jumped in for translation and we kept going. God was just all over this group. Oh My, I have rarely ever seen anything like it.
There was such an intensity and yet a deep sense of the control of the spirit. I say this because it was not a free for all. They just stood around praying and praising gently in the tounges, etc and God just began to hit them one by one. As the spirit led me I just went from one to the other. It was such a divine moment; and I felt a flow unlike anyting I can remember in a long time.
My heart yearned for you to see these young adult people with such a love and fire for Jesus; unlike so much of what we see now in the US. They are so open and wanting what God wants.
Praying for these men and women was like praying for our kids or Micah and Rachel, or Mark or others we know. There is such a birthing of something here.
This and then some worship went on until almost 3 am in the morning and I was not tired at all. Wow, it was mighty.
Then in true African style, they put on some American and African worshipmusic and began to rejoice and dance; in that very African style and it was great; they were having a ball. Some of them were still on the floor or would just get knocked out again and again; the night and the atmosphere was just full of the presence of the lord. I did take some pics for you to see.
This has to be the hightlight of the trip SO FAR!
Keep expecting! There is a great future and hope of God for this Nation and I feel it with such an anointing of the spirit. It is more than excitement or enthusiam, it is a real expectation in the Spirit. God is going to give us an opportunity to see His divine hand in this nation and to be used to reap and reap and reap the harvest for His Glory!

Entry for April 30, 2008

Good evening, it's already April 30th, and Andy will be in Burundi until May 6th, he will be in France through the 9th and begin his journey, arriving home on the 10th. Time flies! I hope and pray that when this visit is past, you will continue to pray for the nation of Burundi. I plan to continue the blog, perhaps not daily, but to offer up prayers for this nation. Flourish. The church in Burundi needs a genuine outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The fist I saw the other day is squeezing the lifeblood out of all things, and the life is in the blood.

I pray that the blood of Jesus Christ would Cover this nation with repentance, forgiveness and love. Love convers a multitude of sins, and may Your love , Jesus, flow among believers in Burundi and spread out into all of the families and people, and cover the land. Wash this nation with the water of Your Word, cleanse the land and cause growth, flourish in this nation. We release you, Burundi from all blood ties and sacrifices made to demon gods, witchcrafts stirring up racial hatred and murder in the nation. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for imparting revelation, exposing the roots and beginnings of these evils that have overtaken the people and the land. Raise up prophets in the land, pour out a spirit of prophecy upon the church.

Thank You Jesus that Your blood was shed to forgive and release Burundi from all that has gone on before, from past atrocities and all hurts of the body, mind and spirit. Cause the people to Flourish in forgiveness and may forgiveness abound. We thank You for a supernatural influx of forgiveness to be shed abroad, pour out a revival of Your awesome love on this people and heal them, and their land. We thank You for the greening of Burundi through repentance, forgiveness and an outpouring of supernatural love.

"If my people which are called by My Name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face..." Tonight Andy is in prayer meetings where he will pray and minister, one is a 24 hour time of prayer. My prayers are with him but also with those that genuinely intercede in the nation. Holy Spirit, impart Your Spirit fully as you did in the Upper Room, a fresh anointing on those who are faithful to gather and pray, meeting their personal needs and desires and answering the cries of their hearts for family and friends, and for the nation.

We agree for an Outpouring, More, Lord, More!!!! We bow down and worship and we cry out, More of Your Spirit for Burundi. MORE!!! Let's continue to pray for More this week...Amy

Entry for April 28, 2008

Good morning, this is a time of Thanksgiving and Agreement. Through chatting with Andy and being in prayer, the Lord is speaking to us through the people. Many believers there are hungry for God, just like we are, and we need to support them in their desire for Him. I declare "Look what the Lord has Done!"

I also return to the word Flourish, this is powerful. God is bringing His word to pass in the earth, the people and the land will Flourish, 'like a green olive tree in the house of the Lord.' Agree with me today, Burundi will flourish, the people will flourish, the church will flourish, Your word will go forth like an arrow piercing the hearts of men, bringing them to repentance. 'Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers out of All', not some but ALL. Deliver the people of God, the nation from the 'tight squeeze', I see a huge fist squeezing the nation, choking the land, all of it. I speak to this spirit and command it to realease this nation right now in Jesus' Holy Name, I break every curse leveled against the nation of Burundi, I put down this devourer that has eaten away the 'green leaves' of the nation. I declare Freedom today for Burundi, I raise up the Name of Jesus, we agree with the Holy C.O.W and rise up to meet and surpass those who have gone on before in the Holy Spirit in heavenly places, Yes. I say Yes, Yes, Yes! and give thanks for everything New-the finance, the education, the business, the church, the government.

I call out the 'mothers and fathers' to rise up in this nation in the Spirit to raise up a generation for You. Cause growth, exponential growth in the church, give understanding, wisdom, beyond their years, New revelation, the spirit of prophecy to fall. No More will accusation and suspicion come into you, Burundi, destroying you from within. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for releasing this nation from the devourer and releasing prosperity into all things. 'Green', Burundi, dear Lord. Green it, even today. I speak greening and growth, new roots to replace the old roots. I see gnarled roots that go deep, I see them being unearthed, dug up, and exposed. The bulldozer?! We stomp on them, crush them under our feet in the Name of Jesus Christ!!

The following is an excerpt from Andy's weekend journal. Enjoy.

"This weekend (Friday-Sunday) in Muyinga was outstanding. After arriving in Muyinga by local bus service (which was an adventure in itself), we went straight to a small gathering of believers. But since electricity is an issue we were only able to meet for a short time. So I encouraged the people with the word of God and told them to be expecting many blessings from the Lord over this weekend. The Pastor confirmed this and asked them to bring friends to the meetings which were to be held on Saturday afternoon and Sunday Morning.

We stayed at a local inn and on Saturday morning went to the local prison. It was an unbelieveable sight. More on this later. As we entered the building, we could hear the singing already. As we came into the main enclosure of the prison men of all ages were gathered for worship and were singing and dancing. I joined right in!!

O. shared some from God’s word and then I preached on the blessing of God in their lives thru Jesus Christ according to Eph 1:3. There was a lot of singing and dancing and drum playing.

At the end of the meeting 15-20 men raised their hands to accept Jesus as Savior. We prayed with them and then sang some more songs. Their songs are more about words of encouragement taken from biblical stories than they are of worship toward God although they seem to have a genuine love for Him; still most of the songs are directed toward themselves or as a testimony type song directed at others who would be listening.

That afternoon/evening we ministered at the local church. A number of people (10-12) received the Lord in this meeting as O. and I both preached. They seem to love the white-haired preacher from America, who can preach like an African! Of course what they mean is that I don’t just stand behind the pulpit; I move about and shout a bit and jump and tell stories as well as preach. This is their style and they like it; and I seem to be cut from the same mold. We also prayed for the sick.

Sunday morning we had a great service. O. and I again both preached. We seem to be preaching similar messages (praise the Lord for that) and it is centered around the theme of trusting the Lord for a great outpouring of His spirit and to be expecting that God is going to do great things in Burundi . We get a great response from God’s people about this idea. We prayed for 20 people who came to the Lord as Savior in the morning meeting and by the word of knowledge, prayed for another 20 or so for various healings. One remarkable one was a woman who had been to Buja and seen several doctors but could find no relief from a terrible pain she suffered in her shoulder. The Lord gave me word of knowledge for healings for shoulders and she came forward along with maybe 5 others. The Lord touched her and she was completely healed with no more pain. She was waving her arm and praising the Lord and showing all her friends about what the lord had done."

Continue to Thank the Lord and Agree with us as Andy ministers in Burundi, but when he returns just remember, this is only the Beginning. Amy
